Teaching Assistant in Veterinary Nursing (1.0FTE, up to 9 months fixed term) IN UK-This position holder will play a key role in supporting undergraduate veterinary nursing, veterinary physiotherapy, veterinary and animal science programs with an existing experienced team. The support within the team will allow people with limited experience of the learning environment to develop these skills in a dynamic but supportive manner.
To perform this role, you must be a registered veterinary nurse, have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and autonomously.
The main duties of the role include:
Assisting module tutors in practical, laboratory or theoretical teaching sessions.
Assisting employees in field tours, tours and other activities that require additional staff throughout the Department.
Participation in the access-access activity of the Department.
Support of research activity of the Department
Participation in the wider academic and corporate life of the University, which will require occasional weekend work (e.g. open day recruitment program)
